Chronostrike VR

Chronostrike VR: the logical evolution to Super Hot VR. We took all the fun of time dilation and kicked it up a notch by adding a plethora of new weapons, enemy types, environmental challenges, and puzzle mechanics.

The biggest advancement to the genre is the Coop Multiplayer mode where 2 players work together to defeat very difficult levels while bearing the responsibilities of shared time dilation and mandatory communication.

My role on this project started as the lead prototype designer. Brainstorming new enemies, weapons, environmental challenges, and general game mechanics then iterating over them until satisfied with the core game features.

I worked closely with the development team to implement my designs while also generating the necessary tools for future level designers to build out the singleplayer and multiplayer game with.

Once prototyping was finished I pivoted into the lead level design role and built thirty-five levels; five tutorial levels, twenty singleplayer levels, and ten multiplayer levels.
